ONE LIFE ONE PLANET

2022.03.17

By MUSE Team

A more responsible fashion: Dsquared2 presents a collection that takes a consistent action to save our planet. Reworking the creative process Dean and Dan Caten re-examine the fabrics to reduce the brand’s environmental impact.

The creative directors of Dsquared2 will launch a new collection that is the result of a long research which aims at reducing the environmental impact in the context of the fashion industry. “One Life One Planet” is the name of this new project which will be available in April 2022 and will include clothing and accessories made from certified organic cotton and recycled materials. A smiley on a maple leaf will be the iconic logo of the capsule collection, characterised by garments in summery colours ranging from pastel shades of pink, green and light blue. The denim line, at the core of the brand, is also moving towards a sustainable direction thanks to use of  a new quality of fabric based on organic cotton and innovative degradable elastane. That of Dsquared2, is a necessary and fundamental act to contribute to a more responsible and sustainable fashion industry.

“We started with the creative process, looking at fabrics which reduce, for certain aspects, their environmental impact and at innovative ways to process and finish products.”
