Marking a new chapter in the brand’s century-long history, the collection merges Loro Piana’s its signature elegance with cutting-edge innovation. Designed by Japanese artisans, a region renowned for its mastery in eyewear craftsmanship, each pair is crafted from premium acetate and hypoallergenic titanium, featuring subtle details like herringbone-engraved temples that pay homage to the brand’s rich textile heritage.
The frames come with advanced mineral lenses, treated with hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings for clarity, durability, and superior protection; complete with 100% UV protection, select models also offer polarised lenses to reduce glare. As a further tribute to its clothing line, each model is named after iconic Loro Piana pieces, a nod to the brand’s commitment to quality, sophistication, and Italian craftsmanship.
The eyewear collection includes the limited-edition Traveller, with rounded acetate frames and delicate metal edges; André, a unisex square frame with a tapered silhouette perfect for angular faces; Roadster, featuring a double-bridge design inspired by aviators; Spagna, with oversized butterfly frames that’s suited to round faces; and lastly, the Icer, combining acetate with contrasting titanium edges and polarised lenses.
The collection drops this month at select Loro Piana boutiques and online.
