MUSE TWENTY FANZINE

Holiday Gifting Collection

2023.12.04

Made of embellished dresses, eyewear and embroidered velvet slippers, Miu Miu Holiday Gifting Collection celebrates private space and the precious moment of holiday.

Miu Miu’s muses offer a sense of intimacy, elegance and charm to Miu Miu Holiday Gifting collection. In a refined atmosphere, they move around casually within the walls of a mansion, a space open to infinite interpretations. So among antiques belonging to a remote era and soft carpeting, wearing layered and dense wardrobe. Flowing black candy, shearling, textured tweed, and shimmering organza embellished with crystals evoke a sophisticated dress code capable of creating a new sense in the meaning of Miu Miu clothes. These Muses perfectly attuned to representing a contemporary and utterly individual spirit, embracing innovation as well as savoir-faire, perfectly embodying the glamour of the Miu Miu woman. The Gifting Holiday Collection features garments from glossy leather, super-soft cashmere, and jersey silhouettes that give full freedom of movement. Prototypical garments are remixed: jackets become cardigans, micro-mini skirts are worn over lingerie. The pairings to which Miu Miu has accustomed us continue to present themselves as an impeccable reference that trespasses all possible visions every time.

Miu Miu Gifting Holiday is in fact for all intents and purposes an invitation to transformation, reinvention, of a woman who can be many women. Constantly recreating themselves, for others but also for themselves, figures like Emma Corrin represent the plurality present in every woman. The collection also offers a portion of garments designed for the holiday season: a selection of skirt suits in elegant black cady, quilted tweed and organza embroidered with crystals, cashmere cardigans and sporty jersey proposals, always edged with the Miu Miu logo. The expression of beauty presented by Miu Miu redefines the infinite facets of life today and elaborates on others, such as the new collaboration with Marshall, which creates a continuous line between their products and those of Polaroid, through a line of cameras, complete with branded web camera straps.

In an interplay of overlays, the glamour of the garments is once again underscored by logo finishes with a clear reference to sportswear. The Wander and Arcadie bags, in soft nappa leather and matellassé leather, veer from red to metallic neutral tones. While the iconic velvet and satin slippers and Mary Jane ballet flats add iconic character to the already very feminine imagery. The Holiday Collection once again fishes from the existing to bring out the new: silhouettes are always a starting point for an idea, be it a way of contemplation or an opportunity to reinterpret Miu Miu’s codes through creative and influential personalities – capable of making the brand’s messages resonate.
