Fall season and tweed are the narrative thread of Virginie Viard work for the Chanel Fall/Winter 2022 collection.

Scotland’s countryside, with all kind of flowers and greenery, is set to house the collection. Performing a brief getaway there are hunting jackets, coats and rubber boots, white are elements borrowed from the men’s wardrobe. Viard wants to show how young and powerful women would Leo to appear wearing Chanel for their everyday life, with a lot of ease and in a bright personal way.

“I was also thinking about England in the 1960s,

and very colorful record covers.”

– Virginie Viard
