ARMANI MARE

2024.05.09

Text by Francesca Fontanesi

The new Armani Mare collection brings the summer line to some of the world’s most renowned beach destinations; an immersive experience in summer atmospheres through turquoise colors and linen fabrics by Giorgio Armani.

Giorgio Armani embarks on a journey to unveil the Giorgio Armani Mare collection in the world’s most iconic summer destinations. Customers will experience an immersive journey in setups characterized by stylized fantasies of tropical palm trees in subtle shades of turquoise, with details in warm wood and light gold hues, furnishings, and mannequins featuring summer weave textures.

The presence of personalized playful elements – foosball, ping-pong table, and Armani/Dolci ice cream cart – evokes the atmosphere of a typical Italian summer. The tour will start from Trani, at the Nugnes boutique, then head to Porto Cervo – in conjunction with the third edition of the Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta from June 4th to 8th – and continue to Tokyo, Sylt, and, in the United States, to Malibu. Giorgio Armani Mare will also be present in resorts in Puerto Banus, St. Tropez, Cannes, Sanya, Forte dei Marmi (which will open for the first time at Via Carducci 16), and in selected Giorgio Armani boutiques worldwide. Giorgio Armani Mare is a refined proposal, complete with accessories, reflecting the principles of natural elegance and sophistication underlying the Armani aesthetic, realized this season in a selection of intangible materials such as linen, brushed cottons, and printed cupro, in a range of natural tones and deep blues. The palette for women is light and natural, enlivened by touches of turquoise and green with a strong marine inspiration. Linen and viscose shirts, trousers, and dresses glide over the silhouette, creating a casual and chic image perfect for the most exclusive destinations. For the evening, metallic glimmers and crystal embellishments on shoes, mini bags, and jewelry illuminate the looks, echoing the reflections of the moon on the sea. The men’s proposal is told through garments in linen, cotton, and cupro, lightweight and comfortable. The volumes of jackets and trousers, deliberately soft, are enriched with sophisticated three-dimensional prints with intertwining motifs and a summer flavor, which enliven the lines, blending harmoniously with the sand and white tones that accompany the entire collection. Accessories follow the same thread, with shopper and shoulder bags with generous volumes and cross sandals made of soft leather.
