Loro Piana’s new Fall-Winter 2024-2025 collection celebrates the craftsmanship and historical roots of the Maison, commemorating a century of history. It is an extraordinary journey through fine fabrics, exclusive shapes and distinctive silhouettes that tell of a tradition of unsurpassed craftsmanship and quality. The experience begins with an immersive installation that explores the Maison’s unique heritage and high-quality fibers. It begins with the historic “thistle blossom” machine used to process cashmere, followed by an intimate space showcasing Loro Piana’s excellences, such as Cashmere, Baby Cashmere, Vicuña and The Gift of Kings®, along with the rediscovery of iconic fibers such as Sopra Visso wool and Black Sheep. The exhibition also includes archival books of fabrics from the past 100 years, evidence of continuous innovation and constant research, core values of the Maison.
The most recent innovation is Graphene, a heat-conducting membrane found in the collection’s most technical garments, which ensures optimal comfort and functionality for both sports and leisure activities. During Fashion Week in Milan, several initiatives are planned, including the transformation of the newsstand on Via Dei Giardini into an oasis of thistle flowers, the iconic symbol of Loro Piana. This motif is celebrated with prints and details in the Fall-Winter 2024-2025 collection. The newsstand is open to the public and invites all passersby to pick up a bouquet of carefully selected thistle flowers. Loro Piana invites fans to an immersive experience during Milan Fashion Week to discover the Maison’s rich heritage, uniqueness, fine craftsmanship, innovative solutions, and timeless elegance.
