MUSE TWENTY FANZINE

A Midsummer Night's Dream

2024.06.10

The new Chanel Coco Beach 2024 collection, photographed by Cass Bird, encapsulates the essence of summer with its light, breezy designs.

Ready for an unforgettable summer, the campaign for the Chanel Coco Beach 2024 collection is like a series of postcards from a sun-kissed journey. Shot by Cass Bird, the photographs feature model Olivia Vinten next to rocks, fishermen’s houses, colorful cabins, and small motorboats, or diving into a turquoise pool. The campaign film, joyfully rhythmic, further extends this invitation to escape; each image is an invitation to get carried away by the midsummer night’s dream.

Estival insouciance — versatile and laid-back, the collection tells the story of a free and relaxed summer.

Evoking the very essence of the collection, these images celebrate the spirit of vacations and Gabrielle Chanel’s love for the sea. This summer’s essential swimsuit is golden and asymmetrical, embellished with a jeweled closure on the back. In a livelier note, it is reinvented in a striped version, paying homage to the sailor tops worn by Gabrielle Chanel. Featuring a pastel strapless swimsuit worn under matching denim shorts, a peach and coral bikini, a jumpsuit with thin vertical stripes, and a coated canvas parka with a casual allure, the Maison’s iconic two-tone is adapted for the summer season. The black and white appear as a black zip jacket and white shorts in perforated cotton jersey. There’s also black and pink on dark pants whose suspenders elegantly lay over a striped bikini top. Hoop earrings, necklaces, and bracelets with gold double Cs add a touch of sophistication. Accessories, including large striped beach towels, a woven raffia tote bag, a denim belt bag, and a large yellow terry beach bag worn over the shoulder, are all complemented by pastel-colored XL rectangular sunglasses… ideal for fully enjoying the delights of summer. Reflecting a summer state of mind and the art de vivre, the Chanel Coco Beach 2024 collection campaign is both elegant and relaxed.

The collection will be available in all Chanel boutiques from mid-June. In the seasonal boutique in Capri, which was inaugurated on March 25 and completely renovated with a terracotta facade overlooking a terrace with herringbone-patterned bricks, the Coco Beach Collection was previewed on May 15.

HERMÈS SS25

THE TACTILE AND SENSORIAL

2024.09.29

The atelier is the starting point for the new Hermès Spring/Summer 2025 collection. The Maison’s heritage is intertwined between leatherwork and the prospect of a future that changes in form and function, that allows itself to be traced by a light hand and loses itself in the lines of a design.

ISSEY MIYAKE SS25

THE BEAUTY OF PAPER

2024.09.28

What is it about paper that makes us feel so comfortable? Issey Miyake’s Spring/Summer 2025 focuses on the history and craftsmanship of paper. An element around which all the experimentation of the next summer collection revolves. Nature becomes the medium for the story of a fashion that is pure and authentic, poetic and in part even primitive.
