Swarovski and SKIMS announce their collaboration by presenting a sparkling line of crystal body jewelry, to be paired and combined in multiple ways with ready-to-wear that sparkles with feminine enhancement.

The line created for the occasion is a natural meeting of visions, a creative union between two iconic brands that seek the attention of an ever-growing audience in each project. Swarovski has always produced elements of quality and impeccable craftsmanship through a responsible relationship with society and the planet: a legacy of sustainable measures, an emphasis on circular innovation, a focus on defending diversity, and the development of special inclusion and personal expression. SKIMS simultaneously succeeds in reflecting these values in its constant innovation, in its quest toward a product that turns to the future, telling a story of a next generation of underwear, loungewear, and shapewear. The techniques used and materials employed are a break from the past, and the beginning of a new project for the future of the industry. Swarovski’s focus on artistic-creative collaborations with a variety of realities has made it a catalyst for unique creativity and expression, the crystals in fact transforming everything they encounter, giving each product an incredibly irresistible appeal. The joyful extravagance of Swarovski thus meets the ingenuity and research of SKIMS materials, telling a collection characteristic for glamour and female empowerment.

“It has always been my dream since I joined Swarovski to create a first-ever collaboration with SKIMS that promotes the art of self-expression. Our collection is a celebration of body and strength, independent women who value their individuality and embrace life with confidence and style.”

– Giovanna Engelbert, Creative Director of Swarovski

Within the collection are crystal body jewelry that can be combined and matched in a variety of ways, and ready-to-wear proposals, including underwear, bodysuits, and crystallized dresses that reflect light by casting rays of light in every direction. All proposals are size-inclusive, and are aimed at enhancing women’s silhouettes, making the collaboration an effective means of speaking to women in a clear, direct, and universal way. The design is inspired by the Millenia collection, with pieces meant to be stacked on top of each other to create a dramatic visual impact. Each product is made entirely by hand, with meticulous attention and dedicated precision. Comfort is the key to this design that is effectively sophisticated, in the telling of the values it represents, as well as in the images that reveal it. Kim Kardashian is immortalized, along with an incredible casting, by photographer Mert Alas. Through his lens he manages to shine through the art that defines the Swarovski and SKIMS collaboration. The representation of female character and self-confidence.

“For this collaboration, we really wanted to celebrate individual creativity and bring more glamour into the everyday closet. The pieces are so special and we loved incorporating the iconic crystal cuts into my favorite SKIMS pieces. We can’t wait for everyone to love Swarovski x SKIMS as much as I do.”

– Kim Kardashian, co-founder and Creative Director of SKIMS
