Combining different voices and styles, the selected Brands for this project range from historic sportswear labels to emerging ready-to-wear and accessory designers. Available exclusively on Vault’s online shop, the 8 capsules create a dynamic exchange where street style meets the snowy slopes of the Alpes, through a wide use of colour.
These collections in limited editions offer an accurate selection of apparel, shoes, jewelry, and house supplies; characterized by aerodynamic lines, the utilitarian aesthetics of ski equipment and the alpine romanticism are translated into an urban street style. Every brand puts in evidence its quality of craftsmanship through its own stylistic identity, overcoming the limits of the concept of contemporary.
The brand Head Sportswear proposes a capsule meant for both slopes and the city, playing with its logo, colours, and street art. Sea brand, brings the typical city girl to the mountains, mixing vintage details with technical fabrics. The Swedish brand Yniq suggests a loud color palette for its ski goggles, where the elastic has the Latin saying: “Sine Amore Nihil” (“Life without love makes no sense”). The iconic Moonboot presents both vintage models with strong colors, and the new “low-top” model without laces. With inlaid graphics and crochet patchwork, The Elder Statesman takes from Los Angeles a playful collection created with different knitting techniques. The London-based jewelry designer Bleue Burnham offers an ode to the clouds, creating harmonious jewelry with SkyDiamond, gemstones obtained by removing carbon from the atmosphere. Panconesi, the famed Italian jeweler, reworks some of his distinctive glazed pieces, setting large diamond-shaped stones. Last, Gui Rosa realized for Vault a series of crochet beanies dominated by punk studs.
The collections have been designed for every scenario, from the city to the mountains keeping the alpine inspiration, making it playful and contemporary at the same time.
