The grand opening of the year: the Pinault Collection is now exposed at the Bourse of Commerce, in the heart of Paris. A manifesto of freedom, the rebuttal of injustice, the acceptance of diversity.

 

The collection would divided into a permanent program as well as temporary one. The first season of exhibitions and events, opened in Spring of 2021, is entitled Ouverture. Ouverture (“Opening”) represents the opening of a new phase in the Pinault Collection project, and the freedom of a perspective on art that showcases diversity.

After his first art exhibited in 2015 in Venice at Palazzo della Dogana, the new Mister of Culture decided to locate the new project at the historian milestone of culture of France, the Bourse of Commerce. The architectural project was assigned to the Japanese architect, Tadao Ando, who has been able to use the original rounded shape of the building as an innovative space for various artworks by some different artists. The aim was to improving the technical performance for wider of the space maintaining a balance between architectural creation and heritage restoration, as a result a new formula that respects the past, celebrates the present, and embraces the futureThe collection would divided into a permanent program as well as temporary one. The first season of exhibitions . The Bourse de Commerce offers a glimpse of the collection of contemporary works that François Pinault has built up for over forty years. 10.000 works by close to 380 artists: the exhibition is made up of paintings, sculptures, videos, photographs, sound pieces, installations, and performances. Those artists whose work has been collected by François Pinault in person representing the excellent of artists the contemporary era. The Kering’s CEO was finally able to open a museum exclusively dedicated to the art of today as a way of making his contribution to the art world, exposing his personal collection.

The exhibition at Armani/Silos, entitled Aldo Fallai for Giorgio Armani, 1977 – 2021, celebrates an artistic connection of almost thirty years between Giorgio Armani and Aldo Fallai. The collaboration began with a feature for “L’Uomo Vogue” in 1977, evolving into a professional relationship that lasted a quarter of a century.
