Described as Nomadic Reverie, the collection traces the wandering of events and expressions, emotions shaping themselves across space and time, leaving room for lasting memories and creating an immersive experience.

At the entrance of the Cortile della Seta, the atmosphere is ancestral, rhythmic, and poetic—dynamic and expressive: short poems are written on the walls and recited by a voiceover. These words evoke memories where timeless recollections converge. From here, visitors enter the main hall, where the world of Loro Piana bursts forth: the passageway recalls the carriage of an old train, with mahogany-panelled walls and brushed brass handrails beneath what appear to be windows. Beyond them, landscapes rush by—blurred, fleeting, and rapid. In the expansive space where the collection is displayed, five shawls hang on the walls: crafted with exquisite Paisley motifs showcasing incredible savoir-faire, a concept that resonates across all the pieces in varying forms and shades. Paisley, with its characteristic teardrop motif, is one of the most recurring features in the Maison’s history. It first appears in the textile archives from the 1960s and ’70s and has since played a central role across collections, particularly in Loro Piana’s printed shawls.

Like indistinct landscapes passing by outside a train window, color and material merge into the Loro Piana quintessence.

Paisley is the focal point of the collection, skilfully paired with other prints and patterns, including jacquard, herringbone, animalier, and tweed. The unmistakable Loro Piana silhouettes are streamlined and layered, defined by the fluidity of their forms. All pairings remain rooted in real-life choices, reflecting contemporary everyday dressing. The fil rouge of the collection is colour: the palette is mutable, creating a truly experiential journey. Warmth is initially conveyed through ochre and terracotta, then moves toward details that evoke sunlight in shades of gold, pink, and brown. Continuity is maintained with elegant beige, grey, and deep brown, gradually descending into richer tones of green, anthracite, and midnight blue. The more intimate feminine personality is expressed through new nuances: coral, turquoise, calendula, and sky blue. The certainty of black and white is reserved for special occasion pieces, enriched with luxurious materials and details.

The combination of all these variants gives the collection unexpected depth. Tradition is revisited through reinterpretations of iconic pieces. Among these, the Rovasenda jacket draws inspiration from the historic model worn in the eponymous Piedmontese village by the Loro Piana family, redefined with a modern character, perfectly suited to the journey theme; the Maremma jacket, reimagined as a bomber with a younger, sportier style, conveys sophistication and comfort. Knitwear is a key element of the collection: shapes are comfortable, and fabrics warm and enveloping. Silk and satin dresses highlight the romantic femininity of the collection—fluid and elegant, enhanced with delicate lace embroidery and refined details. Accessories are designed with a sense of deconstructed softness: leather shoes and bags, bold hats, and enamel pendant jewellery harmonise seamlessly.

The theme of journey is presented as a moment of transition, life, emotion, and memory-making. The imagery inspired by travel is rooted in memory, lived moments, people met, and enduring relationships—not only with individuals but also with places. The Loro Piana Autumn/Winter 2026–2027 collection is a free-flowing compilation of thoughts, like memories jotted down in a notebook during a distant past, enriching both soul and heart. The experience conveyed through the collection and its presentation is that of a long, dreamlike, and immersive narrative. Each piece evokes a sense of being both here and elsewhere, the effortless movement between different stories, and the nomadic nature of intense colours. Once again, Loro Piana embodies excellence not only in material and research but also in craftsmanship and modernity, with the constant aim of offering the beauty of sophisticated and elegant fashion through an inner sensory journey.
