Ivano Atzori, known by the pseudonym DUMBO, announces the release of his new book PRESENTE CONTINUO as a tool that explores the cross-disciplinary identity of his artistic practice.

PRESENTE CONTINUO is the title of Ivano Atzori’s new book, created with the support of C.P. Company. Through photographs and texts, the publication tells the story of this multifaceted artist and personality. His practice has always been cross-disciplinary, as has the identity of his work. His journey began in the early 1990s, rooted in an eclectic narration of both the underground and the established worlds—what is defined as fashion and what stands as counterculture. His focus on two seemingly opposing yet inherently connected aspects has over time become central to his creative reflection. The city of Milan has been at the heart of his project from the very beginning, with a unique attention to the cultural, social, and creative fabric of a constantly evolving community. Atzori has contributed to making Milan an increasingly relevant and appealing place for younger generations.

“Nobody would have made a book about me. This is the seductive and healthy truth. Coming from what you call the underground means, above all, this. I needed to catalog what I have built and understand what has been generated and what is worth carrying forward. PRESENTE CONTINUO speaks of the present moment, constantly.”

– Ivano Atzori

The collaboration with C.P. Company stems from a shared commitment to supporting and highlighting projects with cultural significance. The urban context serves as a common lens through which both paths are interpreted, just as contemporaneity connects their two visions. The city is portrayed as a place of authentic expression—a fertile ground and a living environment, where everything moves dynamically, changes, and evolves. Personal creativity is given the space to be expressed and translated into unique forms and tangible signs that interact with space and time, with the present moment and with our collective experience. Art is in constant evolution—it is part of an ongoing and stimulating process, a force capable of interpreting every facet of the contemporary world. The book, therefore, is not just a collection of Atzori’s journey, but a narrative of different voices and perspectives—singular, unique—that intimately and personally whisper the human and artistic direction of Ivano Atzori.
