Sculptural Elegance

The Hermès Fall/Winter 2025 Collection showcases its legacy of craftsmanship. Sharp edges, tailored shoulders, accented waists. Sculptural, resilient, seductive.

For over 180 years, Hermès has been a symbol of craftsmanship, timeless elegance, and French luxury. Founded in 1837 by Thierry Hermès as a harness workshop in Paris, the brand became known for its high-quality leather goods, ready-to-wear collections, and accessories, and today, this Maison continues to honour its artisanal roots in a contemporary fashion—as seen on its recent runway show.

Unveiling its Fall/Winter 2025 collection, Creative Director Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski stayed true to the Hermès legacy, presenting exceptional craftsmanship with a nod to the modern, thanks to the soft lines, structured tailoring, and hint of subversion; each piece paying homage to the brand’s exceptional commitment to quality and artistry.

She takes a stride. Determined.

She moves forward, never looks back. She has everything she needs.

Balancing minimalist elegance, luxurious detailing, and a subtle sexiness, the collection showcased soft, flowing silhouettes alongside sharp, structured tailoring. True to Hermès’ legacy, every piece incorporated meticulous craftsmanship, with the brand’s signature use of luxurious fabrications like cashmere, silk, and leather. Standout elements of the collection included oversized outerwear, delicately draped coats, quilted leather gilets, mini skirts and mini shorts, complete with hand-stitched detailing, and leather treatments that highlight the brand’s commitment to artisan techniques.

The colour palette also spoke to Hermès’ understated elegance, with rich earthy tones, deep neutrals, hues of green, and femme fatale black with very shade, from muted beiges to warm burgundies, chosen to play to the natural beauty of the fabrics. As with every Hermès collection, there was a focus on functionality as well as beauty, and this was seen via its accessories and footwear that balance form and function.

Outsides wrought for structure, density and warmth.

Insides drawn with soft, suspenseful contours and enveloping textures.

Hermès’ Fall/Winter 2025 collection reinforced its status as one of fashion’s most revered houses, blending heritage with its own take on dark subversion—showcasing the brand’s commitment to excellence while offering a forward-looking vision rooted in legacy.
